Understanding Your Dashboard
Your Dashboard is mission control for your booking business. This guide explains what you see and how to use it effectively.
What Is the Dashboard?
The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you log in. It shows:
- 📊 Statistics - Quick overview of your bookings
- ⚡ Quick Actions - Common tasks in one click
- 📅 Upcoming Appointments - Your next bookings
- 🔗 Booking Link - Share your booking page
- 📈 Marketing Sources - Where bookings come from (Solo+ plans)
💡 Tip: Bookmark the Dashboard for quick access. It's your daily starting point.
Statistics Cards
At the top of your Dashboard, four cards show key numbers.
Today's Bookings
What it shows: Number of appointments scheduled for today
Example: "5" means you have 5 appointments today
ℹ️ Note: This counts unique booking groups. If a customer booked 3 services together, it counts as 1.
This Week
What it shows: Total appointments scheduled for the current week (Monday to Sunday)
Example: "12" means 12 appointments this week
💡 Use case: Plan your week. High numbers? Great! Low numbers? Time to promote.
Services
What it shows: Total number of active services you offer
Example: "8" means you have 8 services customers can book
ℹ️ Note: Only counts active services, not archived ones.
Quick action: Click the card to go to Services page
Team Members
What it shows: Number of active team members
Example: "3" means you have 3 active staff members (including yourself)
Available on: All plans (limits vary by plan)
Quick action: Click to go to Team page
Quick Actions
One-click shortcuts to common tasks.
New Appointment
What it does: Opens Calendar to create a manual booking
When to use:
- Customer calls to book
- Walk-in customer needs appointment
- Block time for personal tasks
Shortcut: Takes you directly to the appointment creation form
Today's Calendar
What it does: Opens Calendar filtered to today's appointments
When to use:
- Check who's coming in today
- Prepare for appointments
- Mark appointments as completed
Messages
What it does: Opens your Inbox
Badge: Shows number of unread conversations
Example: Red "3" badge means 3 unread conversations
When to check:
- When you see the unread badge
- If AI escalates a conversation
- To review AI interactions
Add Service
What it does: Opens form to create a new service
When to use:
- Adding new offerings
- Seasonal services
- Special promotions
Upcoming Appointments
Shows your next 5 appointments in chronological order.
What You See
Customer Name
- The person who booked
- Click to see appointment details
Service Name(s)
- Which service(s) were booked
- Multi-service bookings show all services
Date & Time
- When the appointment is scheduled
- Displayed in your location's timezone
- Format: "Mon, Dec 15 at 2:00 PM"
Multi-Service Badge
- Shows "Multiple Services" if customer booked more than one
- Example: Haircut + Beard Trim = 1 appointment, 2 services
Interacting with Appointments
Click any appointment to:
- View full details
- See customer contact info
- Change status
- Reschedule or cancel
- Add notes

Booking Link Section
Your shareable booking page - ready to use anytime.
QR Code
What it is: Scannable code that opens your booking page
How to use:
- Download the QR code
- Add to business cards, flyers, or print materials
- Customers scan with phone camera
- Opens your booking page instantly
Copy Link Button
What it does: Copies your booking page URL to clipboard
Your link format: rendevo.app/book/your-business-name
Where to paste:
- Instagram bio
- Facebook page
- Email signature
- Website
- Text messages
Preview Button
What it does: Opens your booking page in a new tab
When to use:
- Check how customers see your page
- Verify services are displayed correctly
- Test the booking flow
Share Buttons
Quick share to social platforms:
📱 WhatsApp - Share via WhatsApp Web or app
📘 Facebook - Post to your Facebook page
📷 Instagram - Copy link for Instagram bio
✉️ Email - Opens email with pre-filled message
💡 Tip: Use these to quickly share your booking link with customers.
Marketing Sources (Solo+ Plans)
Track where your bookings come from - requires UTM parameters in your links.
What It Shows
Date Range Selector
- Default: Last 30 days
- Change to see different time periods
Table Columns:
Source - Where traffic came from
- Example: "facebook", "instagram", "google"
Channel - Type of traffic
- Example: "social", "email", "paid"
Bookings - Number of bookings from this source
- Example: "12" bookings from Instagram
Revenue - Total money from these bookings
- Example: "€240" from Facebook ads
How Tracking Works
ℹ️ Technical note: Marketing sources are automatically tracked when customers use links with UTM parameters.

rendevo.app/book/your-business?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social
No setup required - Just add UTM parameters to your shared links.
Filtering
By Source: Filter to see specific platforms
By Channel: Filter by traffic type
💡 Use case: See which platforms bring the most bookings and focus your marketing there.
⚠️ Limitation: Only tracks bookings made through your booking page, not through messaging AI.

When it disappears: Once you complete all setup steps

Dashboard Best Practices
Daily Routine
Morning (9 AM):
- Check Today's Bookings card
- Review Upcoming Appointments list
- Check Messages badge for unread conversations
Midday (1 PM):
- Mark completed appointments in Calendar
- Respond to any customer messages
Evening (6 PM):
- Review today's completed bookings
- Prepare for tomorrow's appointments
- Check This Week card to plan ahead
Weekly Routine
Monday morning:
- Review This Week number
- Check Marketing Sources (if available)
- Identify slow days and promote services
Friday afternoon:
- Review week's performance
- Prepare for weekend bookings
- Check next week's schedule
Growth Tracking (Solo+ Plans)
Monthly:
- Compare Marketing Sources month over month
- Identify your best traffic sources
- Double down on what works
- Try new platforms if numbers are low
Common Questions
Q: Why is "Today's Bookings" different from my Calendar?
A: The Dashboard counts booking groups. If one customer booked 3 services together, it counts as 1 booking group but shows 3 services in Calendar.
Q: Can I customize what shows on the Dashboard?
A: Currently, no. The Dashboard shows key metrics for all users.
Q: Why don't I see Marketing Sources?
A: This feature requires a Solo plan or higher.
Q: How often does the Dashboard update?
A: Real-time. Refresh the page if numbers seem outdated.
Q: Can I see past bookings on the Dashboard?
A: The Dashboard shows upcoming only. Use Calendar to see past appointments.
