Summary Cards
At the top of the page, four cards show key financial metrics:
Gross Revenue
What it shows: Total money collected from all bookings in the selected period
Includes:
- Paid appointments
- Paid experience bookings
- All payment methods (card, cash marked as paid)
Excludes:
- Refunded amounts
- Pending payments (not yet collected)
- Free bookings
Example: You collected €4,200 from 85 bookings this month
Team Payouts
What it shows: Total amount paid or owed to team members
Includes:
- Processed payouts (already sent)
- Pending payouts (scheduled but not yet sent)
Calculation: Based on commission rules you've configured for each team member and service
Example: €1,680 total payouts (40% average commission on €4,200 revenue)
Net Revenue
What it shows: Your actual take-home after team payouts
Formula: Gross Revenue − Team Payouts = Net Revenue
Example: €4,200 − €1,680 = €2,520 net revenue
⚠️ Important: This doesn't account for Stripe fees, overhead, or other business expenses. It's gross minus team share only.
Pending Payouts
What it shows: Money scheduled for team payouts but not yet processed
Why pending:
- Within payout delay period (e.g., 24-48 hours after booking completion)
- Awaiting payout batch processing
- Below minimum payout threshold
Example: €340 will be paid to team members in the next payout cycle

Understanding Your Numbers
Revenue Recognition
Revenue is recorded when:
- Payment is collected (card payment)
- You mark as paid (cash/bank transfer)
Not when:
- Booking is created (unless paid)
- Service is delivered (payment could have been earlier)
Payout Timing
Team payouts process according to your settings:
- Booking completed (service delivered)
- Delay period passes (e.g., 24-48 hours)
- Payout scheduled (appears as pending)
- Payout processed (sent to team member's bank)
Refund Impact
When you refund a payment:
- Refund amount appears as negative revenue
- If team was already paid: payout stands (you absorb loss)
- If payout was pending: payout may be adjusted
⚠️ Important: Stripe fees are not refunded. A €100 payment with €2.90 fees refunds €100 to customer, but you're out €102.90 total.

Common Questions
Q: Why doesn't Net Revenue match my bank deposits? A: Stripe payouts have their own schedule (usually 2-7 days). Also, Stripe takes processing fees that aren't shown in Net Revenue.
Q: Can I see Stripe fees in Financials? A: Currently, Stripe fees are not displayed in rendevo Financials. Check your Stripe Dashboard for fee details.
Q: Why is a transaction showing as "Pending"? A: For team payouts, this means within the delay period you've set. For payments, it means awaiting processing.
Q: How do I handle cash payments in reporting? A: Use "Mark as Paid" when collecting cash. These appear in Financials as revenue but won't show in Stripe reports.
Q: Can I generate reports for specific services? A: Currently, Financials shows all services together. Export to CSV and filter by service in a spreadsheet.
Q: What happens if I change commission rates? A: New rates apply to new bookings only. Existing pending payouts use the rate at time of booking.
