Setting Up Locations
Manage multiple business locations, each with its own address, business hours, and timezone.

Free Plan:

Solo Plan:
- 1 location included
Growth Plan:
- Up to 3 locations
Business Plan:
- Up to 5 locations

What Is a Location?
A location represents:
- A physical place where services are performed
- A separate address with its own business hours
- Different timezone if applicable
- Distinct service offerings
Examples:
- Salon with multiple branches
- Trainer working at different gyms
- Consultant with home office + city office
- Mobile service with designated areas
Location Information
Required Fields
Location Name
- Descriptive name for the location
- Example: "Downtown Studio", "Westside Branch", "Main Office"
- Shows on booking page and calendar
Address
- Street address
- City
- Postal/ZIP code
- Country
Optional Fields
Phone
- Location-specific phone number
- Displayed to customers
- Use if different from business phone
Timezone
- Timezone for this location
- Important for multi-location businesses across timezones
- Defaults to your business timezone
- Affects appointment scheduling and display
Notes
- Internal notes about location
- Parking info, access codes, special instructions
- Not visible to customers
Creating Your First Location
Initial Setup
When you first sign up:
- One default location is created automatically
- Uses your business address from setup
- Named "Main Location" or your business name
Adding Additional Locations
Go to Locations page:
- Sidebar → Locations
Click "+ Add Location":
- Button in top right
- Opens location form
Enter location details:
- Name (required)
- Full address (required)
- Phone (optional)
- Timezone (select if different from default)
- Notes (optional)
Configure business hours:
- Set when this location is open
- Can differ from other locations
- See business hours section below
Click "Create Location"
Business Hours Per Location
Each location has independent business hours.
Why Separate Hours?
Common scenarios:
- Downtown location: Mon-Fri 9 AM - 7 PM
- Suburban location: Tue-Sat 10 AM - 6 PM
- Mobile services: Mon, Wed, Fri only
- Home office: By appointment only
Setting Business Hours
- Edit location
- Go to "Business Hours" section
- For each day:
- Toggle "Open" if working that day
- Set opening time
- Set closing time
- Save
Time format: 12-hour with AM/PM (e.g., 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Copy Hours from Another Location
Quick setup for similar schedules:
- When editing location
- Click "Copy hours from..."
- Select location to copy from
- Hours populated automatically
- Adjust as needed
- Save
Timezone Handling
Critical for multi-location businesses across different timezones.
How Timezones Work
Each location has its own timezone:
- Set when creating/editing location
- Defaults to your business timezone
- Can be different for each location
Appointment times shown in location timezone:
- Customer books: Sees location's time
- You view calendar: Sees location's time
- Confirmation emails: Show location's time
Example:
- Location A (New York): Customer books 2:00 PM EST
- Location B (Los Angeles): Different customer books 2:00 PM PST
- Both show as "2:00 PM" in their respective locations
Selecting Timezone
When editing location:
- Find "Timezone" field
- Click dropdown
- Search or scroll to find correct timezone
- Select
- Save
Common timezones:
- America/New_York (EST/EDT)
- America/Los_Angeles (PST/PDT)
- Europe/London (GMT/BST)
- Europe/Athens (EET/EEST)
- Asia/Tokyo (JST)
Assigning Services to Locations
Services must be assigned to locations where they're offered.
Why Assign Services?
Controls what customers can book:
- Location A: Offers Services 1, 2, 3
- Location B: Offers Services 2, 3, 4
- Customer selecting Location A only sees Services 1, 2, 3
How to Assign
Method 1: From Services page
- Edit service
- Scroll to "Locations"
- Check boxes for locations offering this service
- Save
Method 2: From Locations page
- Edit location
- View "Services" section
- See which services are assigned
- Click "Manage Services" to edit
Both methods update the same data
Assigning Team Members to Locations
Team members work at specific locations.
How Assignment Works
Single location:
- All team members automatically assigned
- No configuration needed
Multiple locations:
- Assign each team member to their location(s)
- Team member can work at multiple locations
- Affects availability and scheduling
How to Assign
Method 1: From Team page
- Edit team member
- Scroll to "Locations"
- Check boxes for locations where they work
- Save
Method 2: From Locations page
- Edit location
- View "Team Members" section
- See who's assigned
- Click "Manage Team" to edit
Location Display on Booking Page
Customers select location before choosing service.
Booking Flow
Multiple locations:
- Customer visits booking page
- Sees location selector first
- Selects preferred location
- Then sees services available at that location
- Booking is location-specific
Single location:
- Location selector hidden
- Customer proceeds directly to services
- Location assigned automatically
What Customers See
For each location:
- Location name
- Address
- Phone (if provided)
- "Select This Location" button
Managing Existing Locations
Editing Locations
What you can edit:
- Name
- Address
- Phone
- Timezone
- Business hours
- Notes
How to edit:
- Locations page → Find location
- Click Edit icon (pencil)
- Make changes
- Save
Deactivating Locations
Use when:
- Location temporarily closed
- Renovations or seasonal closure
- Want to keep data but prevent new bookings
How to deactivate:
- Edit location
- Toggle "Active" to off
- Save
Effects:
- Hidden from booking page
- Cannot create new appointments
- Existing appointments unchanged
- Services remain assigned (in case of reactivation)
Deleting Locations
Use when:
- Location permanently closed
- Want to free up location slot
How to delete:
- Edit location
- Click "Delete Location"
- Confirm deletion
Effects:
- Removed from booking page
- Past appointments remain intact but show as archived location
- Services unassigned from this location
- Team members unassigned from this location
⚠️ Cannot be undone
Holidays and Special Hours
Set location-specific holidays and exceptions.
Why Use Holidays?
Block specific dates:
- Public holidays
- Staff vacation days
- Training days
- Location closed for events
How to Set Holidays
- Edit location
- Go to "Holidays" section
- Click "Add Holiday"
- Enter:
- Date
- Name (e.g., "Christmas Day")
- Optionally: Custom hours (if partially open)
- Save
What happens:
- No time slots available on holiday dates
- Customers cannot book
- You can still create manual appointments if needed
Recurring Holidays
Set once, apply yearly:
- Example: "Christmas Day - December 25"
- Check "Recurring yearly"
- Automatically blocks every December 25
Useful for:
- Public holidays
- Annual closure
- Regular business patterns
Multi-Location Best Practices
Naming Locations
Be specific and clear:
- ✅ "Downtown - 5th Avenue"
- ✅ "Westside Branch"
- ✅ "Mobile - North District"
- ❌ "Location 1"
- ❌ "Office"
Service Offerings
Consider location-specific services:
- Some services only at certain locations
- Different equipment/space requirements
- Specialized staff at specific branches
Example:
- Main Studio: All services
- Satellite Location: Basic services only
- Mobile: Limited services suitable for travel
Timezone Considerations

- Set correct timezone for each location
- Test booking flow from customer perspective
- Verify confirmation emails show correct times
